I learned how to make paper during my final year of High School at the Performance Learning Center. It was one of those things that caught my attention as an artist and eco- friendly individual. For someone that has to always be involved in some sort of hands-on project, I decided to incorporate it into my other art projects at home. It's a long process that requires a lot of patience, but being able to tie in my screen printing as well, I felt that I could develop a few sets of stationary for family and friends, and learn a few things along the way.
I started this project during my Christmas Break 2015, as a way to keep myself involved during the down time between school being out. I have made it a goal of mine to continue to do the cards, as a way to keep in touch with family and friends that live long distances.
